And yet, the dream wouldn't go away. To be sure, with the persistence and drive that made her a successful business woman, Beverly, who now lives in Laguna Beach California, took the chance. Realizing she loved her camera and adventure more than the corporate world, she sold her business and followed her heart and realized the kinship she felt with the sea and wanting to preserve it for posterity through her lens was worth the risk. For the past ten years, Beverly has traveled the globe photographing the undersea life. Her work is widely published in such magazines as National Geographic, Islands, People, Rodale's, to name a few. She has been featured on Fox TV for her work. Her line of Under the Sea and Diving calendars, custom prints, posters notecards, as well as her stock photo library images are available through her company Envirovision. Who
knows for sure when a dream is born? We all have them. Sometimes they
lay unfulfilled in the recesses of our mind. Sometimes they burst
forth with such force that we know we'll never be the same again. Boston-born
Beverly Factor had her dreams. But when she thought of pursuing her dream
of doing what she loved most in life--traveling the world and photographing
the beauty under the sea full time, she thought she couldn't give
up the industry and product she founded, and her successful business.
