A Checklist
to help ensure nothing important is forgotten before you leave home.
PASSPORT: Must in order and up to date with
at least six months validity from the date of your arrival.
VISA: A 30 day Visa-On-Arrival costs $25
CASH USD.
Check with an Indonesian Embassy whether you are eligible for this
or need to apply for a tourist visa before leaving home. Two (2)
colour visa
size photos are required for this at Manado Airport or other
entry port into Indonesia.
VACCINATIONS: Follow your family physician’s
recommendations for a visit to Indonesia.
SPECIAL MEDICATION: Be sure to bring anything you need.
SPECIAL DIET: Be sure to
inform us in advance of your MEDICAL dietary requirements.
DIVE CERTIFICATION: MUST be shown to our staff
on departure day before boarding.
DIVE INJURY INSURANCE: DAN, DiveAssure or similar.
COMPULSORY for all scuba divers on all our
cruises. Non-Divers: Proof
of accident insurance with emergency evacuation coverage. MUST be
shown to our staff on departure day before boarding. Click

LAND TRANSFERS: Are included on Cruise Departure
and Disembarkation Days only, from/to either the airport or a local
resort. Please ensure giving us your transfer requrements well in
advance of your arrival.
PORT & PARK FEES: Can only be paid in clean
unmarked CASH US$. Make sure to bring enough from home to
cover this because Indonesian banks do not sell US dollars.

CASH PAYMENTS: On all cruises certain items can
be paid with credit card but others cannot. Click

CAMERA EQUIPMENT: Please pack FRAGILE EQUIPMENT
in suitable cases -Pelican or similar. Do not assemble your camera
until you are on board.
LABEL all your luggage clearly with your
name and the destination of your cruise, mentioning OCEAN ROVER.
