Credit Card Payments For On Board Expenses

During the cruise you may have certain expenses that are not covered by the initial cruise price. Your on-board expenses are settled on the morning the boat returns. The preferred method of payment is cash. If needed, a car is available to bring you to a nearby ATM machine. It is possible to pay for certain -but not all- items by credit card.

Items you CAN pay by credit card (Visa & Mastercard only) are: alcoholic beverages, diving equipment rentals and purchases, replacement parts, hotel reservations, satellite communications, Nitrox fills and extra car transfers other than those covered by our free-of-charge transfer policy.

Items you CANNOT pay by credit card are: crew tips and Port & Park Fees.

TRAVELLER’S CHEQUES
Contrary to their issuer’s claim that they are “as good as cash”, Traveller’s Cheques cannot be used as payment for any on-board expenses or crew tips. Local banks refuse to cash them unless the signatory -you- is present.

Of course we can assist you with exchanging your TCs at a nearby bank. You can also withdraw cash from local ATM machines using your credit card and PIN code to a maximum of US$500 per card per day.
