All divers booking on Ocean Rover Cruises are required to show proof of Dive Injury & Medical Evacuation (Air) Insurance, such as provided by DAN or DiveAssure. Our main reason for making insurance mandatory is that due to the remoteness of the areas that Ocean Rover operates in it is possible that one of our clients may need air-evacuation in case of sudden illness or an accident.

While on the subject of insurance, we also STRONGLY RECOMMEND that all our clients take trip cancellation insurance. Our cancellation conditions apply no matter what tragedy befalls you or your relatives. We simply cannot bear the financial risk of having to refund people who cancel because of the illness or death of a family member shortly before their cruise departs.
