Port & Park Fees Information Passengers joining Ocean Rover Diving Cruises are charged certain fees by the authorities of the countries in which we operate. These charges are combined in the “Port & Park Fees” that we ask all our passengers to pay us in cash on departure day. Indonesia's maritime authorities charge port fees for
the use of their facilities and services. They also charge for marine
park entrance fees and/or diving permits. Currently the Port & Park
Fee is They use these fees to generate foreign currency income. We, Ocean Rover Cruises, do not have unlimited access to foreign currency. That is why the Port & Park Fee must be paid to us in CASH U.S. Dollars ONLY on departure day. It CANNOT be paid by or Traveller’s Cheques. You cannot buy cash American Dollars from banks in these countries, so be sure to bring the cash with you from home. You would assist us greatly if you bring NEW, UNMARKED banknotes because old or damaged banknotes are NOT accepted. We agree that this is annoying but there is nothing we can do about it. We just try to cooperate with the authorities to ensure minimum time loss. Because of all this, the Fee cannot be included in the price of the cruise. The amount can change without notice so please ensure bringing enough cash USD to cover for this eventuality. * In 2011 Ocean Rover celebrates her 10th Birthday! 10 years of cruising in South East Asian waters, welcoming thousands of divers from every corner of the globe, who enjoyed the best diving there is!
